Woman gives birth to twins ten years apart

In 2009, after five years of trying to get pregnant herself, Ms. Wang, the boys’ mother, decided to seek refuge in IVF. The twins were conceived from a number of embryos that used the same sperm and eggs. One of those embryos was transferred and that led to the birth of Lulu in 2010.

The rest of the embryos were frozen. And now Lulu has got a brother. According to the NY Post, he had asked for it, so Mrs. Wang and her husband decided to go back to the frozen embryos. “From a medical point of view, Lulu and Tong Tong are twins,” said a fertility specialist.

Both boys weighed the same at birth, at 2.97 pounds and they were both delivered by Caesarean section.
