The International Association of Pageantry is hosting a Golf Empowerment Extravaganza with the LPGA January 15-16, 2021 to promote gender empowerment, diversity, and inclusivity.

Orlando, FL, December 23, 2020, ZEXPRWIRE :  The International Association of Pageantry (IAOP) is hosting a Golf Empowerment Extravaganza with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) January 15-16, 2021 to promote gender empowerment, diversity, and inclusivity.

“We are excited to welcome everyone involved in the domestic and international pageant community and all ladies, regardless of industry, to LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA for this extraordinary event,” stated IAOP Chairman, Dr. Rollan Roberts.  He continued, “The IAOP is sponsoring many underserved youth from the local communities to attend free of charge, and thanks to our LPGA partner, most of them will hold a golf club for the very first time alongside LPGA professionals and receive mentorship and inspiration from highly accomplished female leaders.”

The Golf Empowerment Extravaganza features an LPGA Golf Clinic for attendees, A Night with the Queens Gala, Golf Tournament, and Empowerment Session titled “Glass Slippers Shattering Glass Ceilings” with high-profile female business leaders, such as Nancy Lohman, Julie Turpin, Jean Redman, LPGA Foundation President, Nancy Henderson, and Special Advisor to the Under Secretary-General of the United Nations, Annette Richardson, who will be speaking on the impact women are having around the world.

Event sponsors of this special women’s empowerment weekend include Brown & Brown Insurance, WastePro USA, and ICI Homes. Proceeds from this event benefit the IAOP’s mission of supporting and promoting ethics in pageantry and the LPGA’s Renee Powell Fund.
